Statement of Purpose
To ensure the occupational health, safety and well-being of SBSA employees and visitors, as well as the protection of property and surrounding natural habitats by:
- Implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures that are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations;
- Creating and providing effective, current, and customized safety training and education programs for all employees;
- Utilizing consistent training methodology, and constantly updating and revising standard operating procedures as necessary;
- Using a combination of video, tailgates, and personalized hands-on training that work to improve the skill sets of all employees, which furthers and maintains the SBSA safety culture;
